Hello, my name is Garion Loehndorf and I am the Weed & Pesticide Specialist at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. I have worked in agriculture for 17 years. My hands-on experience ranges from field grown vegetables, berries, and rhubarb to greenhouse vegetables and ornamentals, and nursery production of hedging plants and shrubbery. My experience encompasses the diverse range of crops grown in British Columbia. I specialize in understanding the complete production cycle from planting and growing to harvesting, processing, and marketing. I value stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively with primary producers, processors, and marketing boards.
