Dr. Ann Huber is the environmental microbiologist for The Soil Resource Group in Guelph, with 40 years of national and international experience in a range of environmental and agricultural research. For the past 15+ years, her primary focus has been the evaluation of best management practices and technologies for sustainable water management in the horticultural sector, including the development hybrid treatment systems for the management of nutrients, pathogens, plant growth regulators and pesticides in horticultural process waters. She works in close collaboration with Dr. Jeanine West (PhytoServ) on these research projects with the aim of developing sustainable solutions for water issues in horticultural operations.
